Levi woke up and sighed. This was propably one of the weirdest dreams he ever had. What was wrong with that woman? What was this talk about demons and what was that room?

When she had left he had tried to follow her, but he was unable to open the door with her name. So he never found out where she dissappeared to.

Even when he was freshening up and getting ready for the day that woman, (y/n), never left his mind. Her crazy behaviour and the weird things she said made him wonder.

"Demons, huh?", he mumbled to himself when he looked into the mirror.

Sure, the deaths of his two closest friends left a hole inside his heart but calling that a demon was far fetched. Everyone would be sad. It was normal. Ordinary.

Just like his morning. Everything went it's usual way and all he knew was that today was the monthly check up for those who didn't suffer any injuries for a while already. Just to make sure they were truly healthy.

Levi stood in the row, waiting for his turn, getting more and more annoyed every second.

"Honestly, at first I didn't believe it! Those two together? She is too ugly to deserve him! He should go out with me!", an obnoxious voice pierced his eardrums.

That brat would definetly win the prize for the most annoying voice in the world, he thought and waiting became hell for him.

"But that is not very nice of you", a soft voice replied. "You should be happy for them. Love is nothing you can force onto other."

This voice was so pleasant to listen to, so calming and sweet that it would have felt like honey and milk to Levi. If it were not for the fact that he knew the voice. Slowly, not to be noticed, he turned around and his eyes widened in shock.

It was the same woman. The one from his dream. That crazy woman with the confident tone and the annoying behaviour.

But it felt like it was an entirely different person. This woman here was shy and adverted her gaze embarassed as soon as their eyes met. Her voice seemed softer now and her shoulders bend from trying to make herself seem smaller.

No confidence or crazy attitude at all. She was an ordinary shy female.

He heared his name being called out and went to get himself finally checked up.

But why did he see this person in his dream? And why was the dream so different from the real person? Questions filled his mind and made his head spin.

That evening he sat quietly in front of his paperwork and sighed. Work was such a pain in the ass sometimes. If sometimes meant very often.

The flickering candle on his table hypnotized his eyes and he couldn't focus on what the words were saying in front of him. He would catch himself snoozing off several times and finally gave up the struggle against sleep.

Sure, Erwin made him work an insane amount but that didn't affect Levi's sleeping habits at all. He always used to stay awake as long as possible, sleeping only a few hours per day. That was enough for him.

So he blew out the candle but felt his body was too heavy so he simply stayed seated in his chair and closed his eyes, sighing in content.

This time the dream started different but it was still so similar. A vast white space. But the room was already there, right in front of him.

He recognized the door leading inside and opened it carefully. He stepped in and immediatly was greeted by the same voice as last night.

"Oh! Hello, Levi! I already started to doubt that you would show up again."

The female was sitting on the couch, sipping her tea again. Was this how other people felt when they walked in to him drinking tea in the late hours? No, it must be different. After all this woman was insane and he met her sane counterpart today.

"Apparently I'm back. Didn't have a choice though."

The female laughed.

"Be my guest then! Tea?"

He nod. At least the tea tasted good and it was clean.

He quietly took his cup and sat down, too. No need to be stiff and uncomfortable in a dream. After all he fell asleep to regain some energy, not to waste some more.

He watched the female walk around the room in a playfull manner. Sometimes she would skip a little or make an unnecessary turn or twirl. She seemed to try to seem elegant, placing the tip of her foot onto the floor first, like a dancer.

She noticed that he watched her, still feeling uncomfortable with her presence and chuckled.

"You know, you can fully relax in here. What you do here has no effect to the real world. After all, this is a dream", she said with a wink. "And I am just another ordinary human."

"Ordinary?", he asked. "How are you ordinary?"

"I told you before, didn't I? Everyone has their demons, I just don't hide them right now. After all they became a part of me", she explained, getting visibly tired of his narrow minded thinking.

"When you 'ate' them", Levi stated, one eyebrow raised doubting.

She nod.

"Yep! They tasted quite different from what I imagined they would! I even have the theory that everyone's demons taste different. But I guess you shouldn't eat other's demons because then they would be forever dependend of you."

Levi felt a shiver going down his spine. Yes, this woman definetly lost her mind. This was not the female he had met today in the infirmary at the check up. This was a fucked up version of her his phantasy made up. Maybe seeing all those deaths finally got to him. Maybe he was just saving himsef from getting insane by putting insane people into his dreams? Possible.
Sorry I didn't update yesterday! Don't kill me please!!!
